The location of the hotel is a bit far from the town, requiring a tuk-tuk ride or a 20-minute walk. However, the beautiful farm surroundings and calm atmosphere make the distance worth it. The view of the valley is stunning, and there are even fireflies to see at night. The hosts are incredibly friendly and provide free advice on local attractions and prices. The home-cooked dinners using fresh farm ingredients are delicious and cater to different dietary needs.
The path leading to the hotel from town is unsealed and not well-lit, making it a bit inconvenient to access.

I had an amazing stay at a peaceful homestay surrounded by breathtaking nature. The view from my private terrace was absolutely stunning, allowing me to witness both the sunrise and moonrise in all their glory. The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby hiking trails, including the famous Ella's Rock. The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to fulfill any request. The food served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, especially the rice and curry. I highly recommend trying their meals instead of looking for other dining options. Additionally, the staff made my stay even more enjoyable by arranging a 5am walk to a nearby attraction at a reasonable price.
Nothing not too like.

The hotel's decoration was charming and had a cozy feel, with floral patterns and vintage furniture that reminded me of my grandmother's house. The common areas were well maintained and spacious, allowing for easy movement and relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel had ramp access and handrails in the walkways, making it convenient and safe for me to navigate around the property.
I would have asked for more assistance from the staff when it comes to carrying luggage and helping senior guests with their belongings. While the children working there were friendly and accommodating, having dedicated help for older individuals would have made for an even better vacation experience.

The view from the homestay was absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning outlook of the surrounding mountains and jungle. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The traditional curry prepared by the host was simply delicious, made with fresh farm ingredients and served with a spectacular view. the homestay provided a peaceful and calm atmosphere, away from the crowds and perfect for relaxation.
The homestay was located quite far from the city center, requiring a tuk tuk ride or a 20-minute walk on an unsealed and unlit path to reach town. This made it inconvenient, especially during the evening when alternative transportation options were limited.

Our stay at the New Farmers Paradise was absolutely breathtaking. The location is simply stunning, nestled amidst nature and offering beautiful views that are worth every bump on the road. We were able to relax in our hanging chairs, surrounded by the tranquil sounds of birds and waterfalls. It was a true escape from the busy city life.
Although there were minor language barriers, the kindness and attentiveness of the family made up for it. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay.

I stayed at a peaceful homestay in Sri Lanka called New Farmers Paradise for two nights. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The view from my room was breathtaking, with terraced fields and coconut trees surrounding the property. The food, prepared with ingredients from their garden, was absolutely delicious. The hosts also took me on a guided hike to Ella Rock early in the morning, which was an unforgettable experience. I had the opportunity to learn about their lives, family, and farming. I highly recommend this authentic and quiet retreat for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
Would recommend this hotel.
